How to Find Your Tire Size

Your tire size is printed on the sidewall of your current tires. Look for a sequence like 195/65R15 or 205/55R16.

You can also find the recommended tire size for your vehicle:

  • On a sticker inside the driver’s door jamb
  • In your vehicle owner’s manual

 

What the numbers mean:

Using 195/65R15 as an example:

  • 195 – Tire width in millimetres
  • 65 – Aspect ratio (sidewall height as a percentage of width)
  • R – Radial construction
  • 15 – Wheel diameter in inches
